The Peachcrest Trace entrance fence.

Great news for Peachcrest Trace: our new entrance fence is complete! 🎉 The replacement is not only a big visual improvement, it was also built much more substantially than the fence it replaced. Each post was properly dug and set in concrete, and the work comes with a two-year warranty.

The contractor estimates the fence should last around 12 years as-is. He recommends staining the street-facing side before the end of the year, which he says could potentially extend its life to as much as 25 years.

This has been a project we’ve needed to tackle for quite a while, so it’s exciting to see it finished. Thank you to everyone who helped make it happen and continues to support improvements around our neighborhood. ❤️

So far we have raised right around $1000 in direct support of the fence project. That covered about one-sixth of the total cost. So if you’d like to contribute, please do!

The entrance to our neighborhood is the first thing residents and visitors see. It should reflect the pride, care, and sense of community we share here in Peachcrest Trace.
